Ppl on Slickdeals are the ones trying to buy their discounted phones so they can trade it in for $1000 on AT&T
They're not here to make you money, so they're just protecting themselves
Your iPhone 14 Pro hasn't been used for a year yet. Did you not know this? Maybe you're the problem. You're the one trying to play games.

This is stupid. Stop playing games RP. 9-19-23 I will be porting back to visible.

* On ebay with their redpocket store, they have a very impressive 98.4% feedback score and they sold like 280k items. That is where I purchase my plans but the website is run the same. They just have slight different plans. The ebay annual plans are considered BYOP plans so they can't be used in fulfilling unlocking terms. There are redpocket website annual plans that are good value. I think one can use their monthly plan for 3 months to get the rebate discount card and then should purchase their website annual plan as that should fulfill unlock policy. More important is that one is getting a very solid deal with the plan values with the annual deals.

Red Pocket sucks and forced to have service for 12 months instead of pricing the phone outright.
To have them grag their feet during the port and cancelation process for months.

I know their website says it is not supporting international roaming, but it says WiFi calling is supported. Does that mean I can connect to a wifi network and still getting calls? Or with wifi calling, you still need to activate the international roaming?
I am pretty sure 4 years ago when I used redpocket, it was not working for international roaming even when I travelled between cities in the US, I have to update a proxy setting to make my phone work. I am not sure if this improved or not.
I switched 2 of our lines to the Mint mobile 15 usd 12months plan. I still have one line that can switch from T-Mobile corp unlimited to everything plan out.
ETA- both lines must be GSMA for this to work. If different carriers you will get the phone is locked message. HTH
The strategy here is to churn phone porting offers to subsidize upgrade cost. So first $999 - 100 - 200 = 699 + tax for 13 pro (visible). Then sell that for 650, get the 14 pro for 999 - 100 - 200 = 699 (rp but they didn't charge tax). So $50 upgrade to the next iPhone.
Now when the 15 pro comes out I'll get a ATT esim, port out of rp to that, and then port back to Visible or Metro & get another $<100 upgrade. Been doing this for years, but unlock services don't seem to work with redpocket.
I also do this with credit card signup offers, get a couple thousand a year extra with it that is tax free.

What's your experience with RP? Any issues porting in or out of those carriers?

* The unlock service does work for redpocket. One just needs to fulfill the obligation. They aren't lying about 12 month service requirement.
Also, if anyone has a referral code, DM me as I'm seriously considering signing up.
