This was just on woot for 45 for prime members too, anyone own one is it any good? First time buying something like this for a kid to learn mostly lol.

If it's anything like the regular Aerogardens (I have 2 Harvests), it's excellent. They have great customer service, too. I had 2 interactions with them - on one Aerogarden, some of the LEDs burned out (pretty sure the plants got too tall and carried moisture up to the lights) and they sent me a brand new unit. I still use the old one and it's currently growing cherry tomatoes just fine.

I then had some pods that didn't sprout, and they replaced them for free. Great company, and the pods grow like weeds. I have salad greens in one now and the cherry tomatoes in the other and they're growing like wildfire. If anything, I bet the little one here will make you want to upgrade! That said, I just ordered this one for herbs to add to my growing salad greens and cherry tomatoes.
