For casual golfers who want to use a rangefinder, this is probably a fine option. You could also just use any of the free satellite-based apps on your phone (18birdies, GHIN, etc) instead.

I got the Callaway 300 from a SD posted here. I know the model reviewed is the 350 but the 300 is trash. Need to shoot the pin like 4x to feel good about it.

One comment said, I just use the blue white and red markers. Yea fine got it, and I'm not looking to be dead accurate either, HOWEVER, where range finders make their worth is hazards... If I play unfamiliar course I know exactly how far that tree is, I know exactly how far it is to the water, or the dog right bend to the fairway. No more guessing where I need my ball to land.
Anyone that plays different courses, my range finder was such a great investment.

I've shot it next to a bushnell and Nikon and it was equally as accurate.
Generally like MGS, but didn't have the same experience at all.
