In some cases, should a retail partner such as Best Buy run out of picture boxed products, they may substitute them for plain boxed products in those cases.

However, in my experience all refurbished by vitamix blenders come with 5 year warranty and new containers. So if someone is interested in getting a vitamix, don't let the "refurbished" turn you away. This is an excellent deal, I got a refurbished V1200 a few months ago and it has been excellent.

For those who are interested, I just watched a Project Farm video on YouTube comparing blenders. Vitamix was tops, but it was also $600 compared to the $100 version that did a very good job. If I had to do again, I might have considered the $100 1500 watt Nutribullet .
