Not that you won't use it on time but just wanted to make it clear that the $5 credit to your account expires June 28th:

You have qualified for a $5.00 promotional credit which has been automatically applied to your account and will only be visible at checkout and not in your gift card balance. It can be used on eligible products sold by Amazon on Amazon.com until June 28, 2023.

This credit will expire on June 28, 2023. For more information, please read our Terms and Conditions.

Use Chase Freedom (not freedom unlimited) credit card for additional 5% cash back.

Edit: I received my credit email within 15 minutes of buying the $50 e-gift card.

Can I just state, for the record, that I hate the fact that Amazon hides certain credits from your view. At best it's shady, and at worst it's deceptive, making you feel like you've "won a prize" at checkout.

Where are you seeing the Chase offer? I have Freedom Unlimited and don't seem to have it?
It is part of Chase Freedom's rotating quarterly 5% bonus. I looked up Chase Freedom unlimited card benefits and it does not seem like the unlimited card has the rotating category bonus.

Didn't see promo credit at checkout, but received the credit email within 5 mins of placing order after clicking the activation link.
Same, no message in iPhone when checking out but received $5 credit 5-10 mins after ordering.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the info! Unlimited actually seems quite limited when I look at the offers we get, ha.

Worked for me. Thanks! Received the promo credit email within 5 minutes of ordering.

I always use VanillaVisa gift cards that I have sitting around to pay for these Amazon eCard promos. Good way to get rid of the card with a little bonus on top.

I was able to redeem this offer on my prime account as well as my spouse's account (non-prime) which is added as a household account to my prime account.

Is this one of those promo credits that is only good for your (singular) next purchase, with any remainder balance expiring after said purchase? I've been burnt before purchasing movie deals where no rush shipping credits apply first, effectively superseding the promotional credit.

Does anyone know if this works if we order a PHYSICAL amazon gift card? I know it says e-gift card but the fine print says "Offer valid on Amazon.com Gift Cards sold and delivered by ACI Gift Cards" so I'm a bit confused. I'd like to order 2 gift cards at $30 each and get a card with each one.
"Amazon.com eGift Card purchases must total at least $50 in combined value, and the Amazon.com eGift Card(s) must be purchased in a single order at Amazon.com using a current Prime member account. Amazon.com eGift Cards are subject to Terms and Conditions. Amazon.com eGift Cards purchased through Prime Now do not qualify for this promotion."

I am guessing only eGC qualifies for the offer, according to fine print. Send two $30 eGC to your email and print them out. You can put those printed eGC to Mother's day card and give to moms. Moms don't care if they are physical GC or eGC code on printed paper. More likely, they care about Mother's day card you give them or gesture that you care about them. If they don't know how to use eGC at Amazon, you can help them add to their Amazon accounts. Amazon eGC becomes Amazon credits after adding to Amazon account and it gets stored there forever. From my experience, Amazon account is very secure. My Walmart account has been hacked a couple of times (and other websites' accounts) but Amazon account has never been hacked.

Yes, you can add as many as you want, as they are just turned into a credit balance for your Amazon account.
are you sure? This offer says

Limit one promotional credit per Amazon.com Prime account as designated by the primary email address.

Anyone buy more than 1 and get $5 for each purchase?

Thx Op. It only took about about 5 minutes from start to finish to get the Amazon GC and $5 promo email:

You have qualified for a $5.00 promotional credit which has been AUTOMATICALLY applied to your account and will only be visible at checkout and not in your gift card balance. It can be used on eligible products sold by Amazon on Amazon.com until June 28, 2023.

So FYI- It will Not stack with another promo code or offer, like the Locker Pickup promo. ( PICKUP10OFF )

Great suggestion! I didn't see the option to print the egift cards, only email or text. I went ahead and purchased the physical ones because I liked that they came with a greeting card as well, I figure it'll save me about $5 to not have to purchase cards for the gift cards to go in anyways. I'll update if I get the promotional credit!
