Its not bad at all, just add a little sliced beef, a few bean sprouts, and some sliced green onion and it is better than most other types of instant noodles but not overly salty like 99% of other instant noodles. Mild and pretty good pho flavor that tastes fairly close to real pho unlike Cup Noodles or Top Ramen which are way too salty and bad flavor which taste nothing like an actual bowl of ramen. The noodles quickly become soggy so eat it as quickly as you can exactly 2mins after adding hot water otherwise they get pretty mushy around the 6-7min mark. I've eating about 22 different pho restaurants in my town but they are all pretty far from me so I found this Snapdragon brand at Vons about a month ago and bought 4 to try them because I wanted something that would help my pho craving without having to drive 20 miles to get good pho, and these were way better than I expected. I was expecting them to be the Vietnamese verson of Cup Noodles but these are much better than that, not as good as something like NongShim Black, but pretty close, just lacking all the toppings so be sure to at least add a little meat and green onions otherwise it is just broth (which is surprisingly good) and noodles so it would probably be too plain by most people's standards.
I'd have to double check to be certain but definitly definitly pretty close to the Costco non-sale price, if memory serves it's within a dollar of the regular Costco price.
My family, none of whom are Asian but who generally like Pho, thought these were surprisingly good when decent additions were made, (sliced ribeye, green onions, bean sprouts, Sriracha), it is a quick, easy and warm weeknight meal for a family of four.
I grew up in VN and love pho. I'm pretty damn picky when it comes to good pho and food in general. This pho is the best instant I've ever had. I tried others and have always been disappointed. This I take with me for lunch when I have an office day. Add leftover slices beef or any sort of meat, along with fresh cilantro and scallions, hot water for a couple of minutes and it's a nice quick lunch for next to nothing. Don't expect this to taste like a $10 bowl of pho at the restaurant, but it's wayyyy better than most of the instant stuff out there.

Did you rinse the topping? Lol its supposed to go together with the broth
I've gotten it from multiple Pho restaurants in London. Dil from California raves about it, but honestly it all could be tofu in there because everything besides the broth has lost it's flavour to the broth.
I don't know how this could be advertised as authenthic pho broth when there's not a single mention of bone broth (note there are typos; taken from Amazon):

I love / am obsessed with pho, and I also love to cook. But I dont have time always to make bone broth.
In came my quest for finding a cheat method for pho. I bought any pre made broths, concentrates and many of these insta type packages. Your expectations have to be realistic, you are buying a pre packaged cheap instant meal.
In short: This is an excellent tasting product for what it is. Its is better than all I've tried and very rich flavor.
Do: Add things like many comments: Green onions, fish sauce, star anise, cilantro, round eye, jalenpenos, lime, sriracha etc.
Is it super healthy and natural ingredients? No, but again its a quick, cheap, easy meal that is a short cut. There is always going to be downsides to taking shortcuts on things.
Will it taste like pho from a restaurant? No, but it's tasty.
Usually, I buy from costco at $8-9 when I catch it on sale.

I'm Asian… I bought a box of these from Costco. Really nasty stuff. It smells like pho but doesn't taste anything like authentic or even some sorta instant pho. It sits in my cupboard eventually will throw it away. Really wasn't found of the taste - tasted kinda fake - something is off about this
What does being Asian have to do with anything. I'm Asian too and I enjoy this? I've been to Vietnam four times and the noodles in this bowl are actually way closer to authentic pho than the thin rice noodles used in the states. I've tried many pho places in the states, and none of them come close to what I had in Vietnam.
Yes, the broth isn't amazing and isn't like real bone broth, but what do you expect from an instant bowl of noodles? Listen to the guy who grew up in Vietnam. With that said, I haven't bought any of these recently because of the amount of sodium.
tl;dr - it tastes good and I think it's worth a shot for those of you who haven't tried it before but don't eat these every night.

If you want instant ... just buy the canned pho soup at the local asian mart and put in the dried rice noodles ... better tasting yet instant
