I bought this one last week. Coming from a 1440p IPS screen to this VA panel was a let down. I needed a big screen 4K at a low price so I kept it but buyer beware.

Right now I'm using a 32in 1440p monitor. The text is too big for me, everything looks huge. That's coming from 27in 4k monitor which I normally run at 125 to 150%. There's a local deal for a used 38" ultra wide but it's not 4k, it's wqhd. Does anyone have experience with the ultra wides? Doing a screen size comparison 38 is about 1/4th to 1/3rd bigger than the 32 while keeping the screen height. Will the few extra inches be worth it or going to a 32" 4k would work better?

I've also recently bought a 43" tv to try, I liked the size but text clarity sucks unless you spend a lot more than I want to.

I have Alienware 38 inch wqhd 1600p, and a HP X32 32 inch qhd 1440p next to it. The 38 inch has text a bit smaller than 32 inch but barely can tell the difference.

How do you like the 38? Numbers are one thing but how does it compare to the 32 size wise?
