Ordered one of these; thanks! I'd recommend these IF you already have stuff on the Greenworks 24V system. I have the chainsaw and it's actually pretty good for small homeowner tasks -- easily can handle branches up to a couple of inches. Also I have the drill/driver set which is sometimes a good deal and came with more 24V batteries.

I don't have this (yet) but as a string trimmer seems decent, but I'll admit I'm also ordering for the 4AH battery which will be nice for the chainsaw I already have. This string trimmer uses the 0.080" line which is good -- it's heavier duty. You will see low-end trimmers like B&D and Ryobi use the 0.065" line and that is much thinner. Seems like a small difference but that extra thickness means it's much stronger going against heavier grass and weeds. Hopefully this will also have enough power in the motor to drive it through that, though I don't have it yet so can't confirm. You'll find the low-end ones that use the thin line often don't have enough power even if the line was thicker -- from the info at least, this one seems like it would do the job so hoping for the best.

Does the trimmer loop handle not adjust down the pole further? Maybe I'm not looking at it right but that looks incredibly uncomfortable having both hands so high

The green handle is telescopic and adjusts along the pole. The black handle is also adjustable, but not the way you're thinking. The black handle swivels at it's connection to the green handle. Yes, it moves. There's a video on the product page.

It's really not tho. Any context would be helpful so your comment isn't just you yelling into the void?
