90 days seems so low for a refurb battery dependant product
"Looks like a lot of reviews on Amazon saying the battery doesn't last long as in the life of the battery in general"

The battery is replaceable. I have had mine over a year. Still holds charge well, I have not had to replace the battery yet. I did buy it new. The user serviceable battery was the main reason I got it. I have this and black and decker matrix hand-vac. This is much better.

Was considering the Fanttik V8 ($64-70), but bought this. Hopefully it's as powerful as some reviews state it is.

Anyone have experience with this or the Fanttik V8? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Had one since they first released. Good little vac but battery life definitely decreased quickly.

Damn I paid nearly double from Costco. But at least if I have battery issues I can return it.

People in reviews said max 10-15mins on battery and recharge time is 4hours. Total battery life is approx 2 years before useless. I went in for one anyway since it has 90day warranty.

All of these vacs murder their batteries for some reason. I've had a bunch of different types (The Black&Decker, Wyze, this one) and they all end up with 5 minute batteries after 2 years and don't have replacement batteries available. When I pick them up off the charger they're hot, so you know they're just baking the batteries.

New at Walmart for $79.99 right now, just purchased one this week.

Works pretty well for my Jeep interior. Just hit it every couple days for a quick clean. Not really worried about long term battery life, because honestly- who wants to be using this for 15 minutes in a row anyway?

How bad is the battery life after a year or so of use? 5 minutes?

The refurbished model seems like a good price if you're in the market for a replacement battery. Official Shark brand battery is $60 and generic ones are around 40-50.
