This is a good card for 0% APR on purchases due to the relatively lengthy 21 month duration of the offer, but it's not as good for balance transfers due to the 5% balance transfer fee.

Navy Federal Credit Union Platinum Credit Card will give you 0% balance transfer fee and only 0.99% APR for 12 months.

I'm seeing US Bank Visa Platinum card reviewed as 3% balance transfer fee and 0% APR for 18 months, however it looks like they may have updated the terms to exactly match the Wells Fargo card. Either way it's an alternative to consider.

For specific purchases you may want to check if any of your current cards will offer you 0% promotions. For example I found that my Chase card offered me 24 months 0% APR with no fees on a recent large purchase.

An introductory fee of either 3% of the amount of each transfer or $5 minimum, whichever is greater, for balances transferred within 60 days of account opening. After that, either 5% of the amount of each transfer or $5 minimum, whichever is greater.

This is what I am seeing. If the 3% applies to BT for the same 21 billing cycles at the beginning. U.S Bank would be a better option than Wells Fargo.

The Autograph card is 3% BT fee. Unfortunately, Reflect is 5%. I went through a rigmarole with Wells Fargo on the phone yesterday. I got approved for 18k on the Reflect and went for the Autograph but got declined. Reason cited was I had recently applied.

WF rep. recommended manual underwriting then a product switch if I didn't get approved. Welp...I requested manual underwriting but still got declined (heard back the same day). I called the next day for the product switch and they then said that the Reflect and Autograph cannot be switched but WF Active Cash card could. I already have that card and am well past the promo period so that doesn't help.

Writing this to give you guys some insight. Hope it helps.

TLDR: if you want the new card for BT, apply for the Autopgraph FIRST.

I wonder if the executives of WF will 'Reflect' on all the fines and penalties they had to pay over the past decade of all the misdeeds they did to their customers?
I wouldn't sing up for anything Wells Fargo - although I wouldn't put it past them to sign me up without my asking LOL...

I have one card from them and I'd say the limit is relatively high, but beat by all my amex cards and one of my citi cards.
