If using it for business, get a used Matterport Pro2 camera, or a compatible 360 camera.
I've been a Matterport photographer for six years and this device isn't worth it, it will do nothing but slow you down.

This tool is awesome if you do many Matterport scans using a phone, but it's not necessary for doing just one space. It's not that hard to do it manually. If doing manually, I recommend using a pole and just hold the phone over it to make it easier to keep centered when spinning around it.

The "free" one is not public. You can host it but cannot share it.
1. Upload scan
2. Log in and go to All Spaces
3. Click 3 circles on uploaded space
4. Click Share & Invite
5. Change it from Private to Unlisted or Public
6. Click Copy link

It would be awesome to just use your phone's built in camera app to take consistent photos that could be stitched into panoramas using 3rd party software. It could also be used to create cool time lapse 360 pans similar to how people use the Ikea rotating kitchen timer, especially if you could control the rotation speed.
