LOL...you picked one of the only ones that does work. I use non top tier in my truck due to the lower price, then after a few tank fulls I use one of these.

Use Top Tier gasoline and you don't need any additives.

At least where I live, Costco and Arco have the same prices as the discount brands, and they are both Tier 1.

Most cars today are direct injected, so this does nothing for valves on those. This is mostly preventative to keep your injectors clean and piston deposits.

I went down the rabbit hole on researching these and ended up going for red line SI-1. It's a bit more expensive ($13/bottle Amazon 2-pack) but is more concentrated and has the highest amount of polyether amines rather than just solvents to do the cleaning.

Agree. Most new cars today have GDI. Only air passes thru valves. These fluid does nothing. You need aerosol cleaner.
If you still have port injected engine: as of model year 2023 - toyota 4runner/gx460, stellantis 6 or 8-cyl, then yes it is effective. Small carburetor engines (mower) definitely need this. BUT so is the cheap Lucas cleaner sold by gallon containers.
Fuel pump, line, injector, piston never need cleaning. These things in my 20 year, 250k mile car are perfectly clean. Yes I pulled my GM v6 engine out and inspected them, and I always use cheapest gas in town.

I use Tier1 (Costco) gas. I do a lot of short drives. Will adding this fuel cleaner help reduce foul buildups in the engine or a waste of money? Thanks.

Let me introduce my Toyota when they decided to do both

Just tried it again at a different store location and it showed the sale price. Thanks.
