Looking for 18 volt Ryobi grinder I see so many different models anyone know the difference between them some are going for $20 some are going for double that

P421 is the bottom of the barrel. Just fine if you cut off a bolt here or there. But it gets real hot if you run it longer.

P445 is mid tier. Probably the minimum acceptable product for a "tool guy."

The brushless one is top tier. If you're asking about grinders you probably don't want this one.

Cordless grinders aren't exactly great. Use them if you really need portability and convenience. If you don't use them often, you're probably better off with a corded one. They are more powerful and having to constantly drag out extension cords isn't too bad because you barely use it. Metabo makes one that's like $40ish that will spank the Ryobi brushless and probably last a lifetime. My POS Chicago Electric grinder from HF still hasn't died after 20 years. Last year it cut off a couple bolts and made around 80 cuts of 1/2" rebar. As much as I'd like a cordless grinder there's really not a lot of benefit to spending the money for me.

Safety is a big deal with grinders. They cause a lot of workplace accidents. You shouldn't fear it, but you darn better respect it. Eye protection any time you flip the switch. Gloves if you're throwing sparks. If you get into using a wire wheel, please get a face shield and cover up as best you can. Leather if you can do so. If one of those wires breaks off at several thousand RPM it can embed itself quite deeply into your body.

Looking good to me. Was going to get an electric one but the gas powered ones come with a free surface cleaner.
I just bought the Ryobi 2900 PSI 2.5 GPM gas unit for $180. Reviews are good and relevant. Sort by most helpful reviews [homedepot.com] Seems that Honda GX engine clones are better than low end genuine Honda GC engines found in most entry level pressure washers. This Ryobi unit uses a GX clone. The pump is a more important component, anyhow. This one seems to have an aluminum encased pump - so hoping it's decent.

Comes with a free "POWERFIT 14" Surface Cleaner PF31024" and " POWERFIT 24 Oz. Foam Blaster PF31F01" if that's meaningful to you. The free surface cleaner looks like junk so I grabbed the 12" Ryobi surface cleaner which has wheels for $18. I need to clean the deck and possibly flaking paint in addition to other pressure washer duties.

Didn't direct link the DTO pages because the website appears to be crashing/overloaded...as usual. Here's the pressure washer [directtoolsoutlet.com] and surface cleaner [directtoolsoutlet.com] once their website starts working again.

If you plan to do more than light pressure washing, I'd suggest sticking with gas units. The electric units have abysmal GPM which is more important than PSI usually. Electric is good for portability and ease of use. No gas vs. electric bias - I just want tools that are right for the job.

Factory Blemished is practically new. Even with the $15 shipping, still cheaper compared to Home Depot.

is the pancake compressor and brad nailer combo for 107 decent? dont have a brad nailer and was going to get the milwaukee battery powered one but this seems appealing at the price point

I ordered the 10" 18v HP ryobi miter. Reviews seem really good and that price is $400+ less than competitors like milwaukee and makita. Price is too good to pass up IMO if youre looking for a miter saw. Cant even get a 7.25" for less than $200 most days and this one will cut a 4x4

I got the 40v cordless on one of the last sales for 45% off. Haven't seen it for less than that. It runs through about 5 5 gallon buckets with two fully charged 40v batteries that come with it. I highly recommend.
yours came with 2 batteries? looks like the current listing only comes with 1

Is the sale in store as well? I have one about 45 min away that would be worth driving to to save $15 (plus tax since it's in Delaware)

nvm I Filtered by store pickup and didn't see anything

Lol forget to be specific... Cheaper.
I just notice that it is hit and miss on the prices vs. HD site. And then factor in return policy it starts to be become a real toss up. So it had to be a really good deal.
And many times the really good deals don't ship. Frown 😞
