The color is unique and distinctive for dark cherry, a bit darker than I expected.

But the real upside is the MagSafe. It's much stronger than most all of the third party cases I've bought. Works perfectly with MagSafe Mounts and accessories. At least as strong as the caseless phone.

I bought the dark cherry from a previous dream here. Not a good color to go with sierra blue.

I have been using brown case for a year. As long as you don't let the case get too wet, it holds brilliantly. My case got drenched in rain recently, i bought a replacement. These are really light cases and feel great. Just don't expect drop protection

I've had the same black Apple leather case on my 12 Pro for 2.5 years. It's not worn through or scratched and it's still in great condition. Other than a crack by the volume buttons that doesn't affect much of anything, it has held up very well. I believe I paid $40 for it on "sale" back in 2020, and it's the only case I have purchased for this phone. This is my 3rd Apple leather case, and I've had similar experiences with them all. I can't comment on the quality of these cases since the 12 series, but I disagree with the statement that they have been poor quality since the 11, that hasn't been my experience. Maybe there are counterfeits out there?

Similar situation with the black. I had it on since the purchase and of the phone and the case just won't quit. Kind of surprised to see all the negative reviews. I wonder if the black is more durable, or I just baby the phone.

Like others have mentioned, not a great product. Literally a day after I put this on my wife's phone, it dropped out of her back pocket and cracked the glass cover and scratched the edges of her phone. Thankfully it was just the glass cover and I could replace that, but the edges are rough now. Otherwise, MagSafe is the only redeeming factor at this point.

I had the blue leather one for iPhone 12 pro. It wore horribly but otherwise worked well and had nice buttons. Maybe black wears betters

I got new plastic one and miss the leather feel already.
