I would get the Members Mark one. I'm not a fan of the handle/holes on this one, and the other one has a shelf. You will push food against the sides, whether to set them for later or to scoop them up.
This one is x2 MSRP so maybe it has a better built quality but I just can't get past the handles. Fwiw, I have a camp chef 600, which matches this MSRP.
I don't do grilling but what's the benefit of a griddle vs grates?
This is better for brealfast food and if you make smash burgers. Also, vegetables are easier in this than getting a grilling basket. its essentially a giant frying pan.
I bought a similar one from woot and have been using it for a year. It's overall a nice grill but has some major downsides.
1. No hinged lid. Even with the included cover it will sag onto the grill top when it rains and water will condensate on the top where the cover is contacting it.
2. No natural gas conversion for Royal Gourmet
3. The handles in the side of the cooktop make it easy for food to spill out the side especially when trying to scoop it up
Personally I wouldn't buy one of these again without a lid.

I have 2 of these. On one the hose for the propane tank started to leak in about 3 months. Contacted the company gave them the part # off the hose, and copy of my purchase receipt and they sent me a replacement.
Besides that both have been great for the just over 1 year I've owned them. 1 at home, and 1 at the campground.
Get a good cover though so the top doesn't get rusty and gross.

Grates are nice for steaks, chicken and ribs, but anything else is better on Griddle.
Restaurants cook most of their food on Griddles.
