I hate to have to ask this, but, it seems like a legitimate and realistic concern. Do we still need to worry about getting fake/replica razor blades, when ordering from Amazon? Or, has something been done, to help to prevent that from happening?

oh yes, and the way you can tell after using is they almost immediately go dull, after 1-2 shaves.

That's exactly what I think has happened, with some of the Gillette razor blades that I bought, over the past couple years. It seems like they might not even stay sharp, for two full shaves. It's ridiculous. And they will cut up your face and make it bleed, after only having used the blade, 3 or 4 times. Which is ridiculous, considering that these are supposed to be top-of-the line, high-quality razor blades.

Are you willing to take a risk, on these? Or will you refuse to purchase them, because of the likelihood of them being counterfeit blades?

It seems Gillette (as a company) has went down hill. I've purchased their blades from brick & mortar stores. They usually only stay sharp for one shave. Truly, sad. I get a better shave from dorco blades and Amazon's brand.

I bought a new Fusion 5 handle with four refills from Wally and its the best razor I have ever used. Started on Jan 1 2023 and still using same blade, still sharp and smooth. Shave every other day and always keep blade dry after use.
I agree with the counterfeits, have bought some really bad earlier fusion blade refills and almost think its better to buy a new handle with the blades, seems to be more assurance they are real.

Don't buy razor blades from Amazon their stock is infected with fakes, your face will not like these… slice

Costco / Sams has these on sale from time to time, legit not fake, and very close to this price

They are more expensive there but at least you know you are getting the real product not some cheap crap

I feel I have to throw this out there. I'm 63 years old, have been shaving for awhile. The Gillette labs razor (not the fancy heated version) is not only an incredible razor but lasts longer, a lot longer than any blade I've ever used. I've gone 20 days between changes and I usually go a week. As far as I know there are no fakes out yet, I've been stocking up on eBay. If you haven't tried it give it a go if you find a cheap enough deal for the razor handle and a blade or two.

The proglide that has those spikes to get the hair in the right place to be cut is a game changer for me. I shave my head so three times a week. I just got these on a trip and realized they stay sharp longer. I usually get the regular ones from Sams/CostCo but those only stay good for about 4 shaves until they really start cutting my face when i shave against the grain.

To many counterfeits on Amazon.

Buy from Costco when they have them on sale. Or buy them from CVS or Walgreens when they are on sale and you can stack coupon codes.

Only way to guarantee not to get fakes; buy from Costco, CVS, or Walgreens.

How do these compare to dollar shave club? I only shave every other day or so and not that much (chin/mustache), but these blades seem crazy expensive in comparison to their executive line which is now discontinued. Thanks beard gods!
