Good price because the resturant store has them for $37. Anyone know how far out the date will be though?

Not sure how this is a SD unless you run a food business. Far cheaper and less waste to buy this as a bulk container from Costco or Smart and Final

I always get wierd looks when I pull the 200oz bottle out of my lunch box at work.

These might be a little more convenient.

I find that these are much more convenient to take for lunch or put in a lunchbox.

The classic move of sugar, inverted sugar, honey, corn syrup, and high fructose corn syrup, so the number 1 ingredient of sugar is listed at the top.

Well played you piece of shit Heinz lol

Why not carry a small bottle or leave one in the office?
But yes, if you constantly have to put mustard on later, not when you make the sandwich, i guess it's a good deal but I had no idea it had so much crap in the ingredients..

Not sure what you're looking at. The packet label:
- Lists mustard as the number one ingredient
- Lists HFCS as the third ingredient, ahead of sugar, honey, and invert sugar

The funny thing is that the bottled version doesn't have all that crap. The listed ingredients on the bottle are:
distilled white vinegar, water, cane sugar, mustard seed, dark brown sugar, honey, salt, molasses, mustard flour, natural flavor, spices, turmeric

So Ill explain what companies do.

- So lets say you want something that is going to be 60% sugar, 20% (mustard), and 20% something else.
- Now if you use your go to sugar which is high fructose corn system it would be the number 1 ingredient and people would notice that and not want to use the product thinking its all sugar.
- So instead you just use 5 different types of sugar and have them be equal parts or a mix and match.
- So its 12% sugar, 12% inverted sugar, 12% honey, 12% corn syrup, and 12% high fructose corn syrup.
- This way instead of by law putting the sugar at the top you can move it way down since its less actually than the other ingredients.

Very odd, but my guess is that these packets are meant for longer storage periods and because hey got small amounts in possibly worse storage conditions, they just put more preservatives and synthetic stuff in there. Maybe it's also why it's cheaper, food industry grade.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Makes sense, though I just put the honey mustard directly into my sandwich. Just not a fan of single use plastics like this, especially when it's significantly cheaper to avoid them.

I got mine today; two of the containers were pushed to the corner and blew apart, making a mess on about 10 of them. I am going to let it go since I only paid $10 for it, but beware. The packets themselves are stacked in a cardboard box and shipped in another box with some air packets. Mfg date is 2/1/23; not sure if that means jan 1 2023 or feb 1 2023
