One of the best hobbyist flashlights is on sale. SP36 BLF with Anduril 2.0 can be had for $44.88 for the kit with 3 rechargeable batteries or just the light for $37.88.

This is a very good deal.
But with that said, this is a great price for it. Maybe lowest ever?

If that is your concern the if25 is not the light for you. To be clear, that is only an issue if you try to use them at max brightness or close to max brightness. This big light is much better at dissipating the heat than the if25

Great for photography instead of a flash to light subjects. Great to light up whole room bouncing off ceiling. Also, a good coyote deterrent when taking your pup to the bathroom late at night. Very versatile.
I have to admit... after lighting up whole room for a long while, I'll water cool the body carefully avoiding the charging port to get the batteries to room temperature and prolong life. only issue ive had with it, is the rubber charging port cover breaking off.
If you are a light nerd, this thing rocks for the output and value category.
IF25a is by far the most practical light, I carry 2 of them and they cover all the situations (including using them together when you need more light)
SP36, 36Pro and Q8 Pro are excellent lights, but I kinda regret buying them, they always sit in a drawer. They get hot quickly, they are heavy, and I mostly don't need that much light anyway.
Unless you're a light collector, hard to find a practical use case for them vs a pair of tiny IF25a.
I would strongly recommend IF25a if the price is right.
P.S. iPad is not better than iPhone in most situations, even though it's bigger. And those big lights are too heavy and slow for being a good powerbank as well.
That's all high output lights especially FET driven. If you're pumping out 4000lm and pulling 20 amps it's going to get hot. This light has active thermal management meaning it knows the temp and adjusts down and up. That's rare especially in well know/expensive brands.
