I received my 6a from Metro and can confirm that it won't work with TMobile sim out of the box. I've tested with my T-Mobile sim card and couldn't get services.

I would eat the additional net $10 to avoid all that crap and get a new number. No AF, $20 cheaper plan. Authorized dealers are 90% scammers.

So I have both A54 and S21FE. I just played with both more today and must say, if not considering battery, s21FE is just better in almost every aspect. Thinner bazels, more responsive fingerprint sensor, better/juicer colors and viewing angles, better camera, mega super-duper stereo speakers (A54 also has good ones but s21 has better ones). I had Pixel7 and honestly, I hated the screen. Had terrible headaches just from staring at P7, so I assume with P6a it would be the same (if not worse). Therefore, if you have extra $50 and want some decent camera and overall smooth experience go with s21fe, but if battery really meters go with a54. However, if you just want the cheapest option and like making photos, go with P6a. Just my 2 cents

With Metro and AT&T clearing out 6A stock there's a good chance 6a will have trash trade in value for the remainder of the year.
Trade values have more to do with how badly Google wants to sell it's overpriced 7a, and foldable for that matter.

Ok, so just double checking.

I can just buy a new number and pay the 40$ 1 month fee.
49.99 for the phone.
Plus whatever tax.

And after a month, I don't pay anything, and after 6 months I can just call them and get it unlocked? Basically, an unlocked phone is costing me around 100$?

The internet service?
Home internet and phone internet use the same 5G. The question is whether this will work with 5g and not just calls with 4g

You don't even need to call to get the phone unlocked, it happens automatically (at least that's been my experience).

Did anyone activate your phone before last November but your phone recently was automatically unlocked after 180 days passed?

I just had my 3 Galaxy s21 FE unlocked automatically. All were purchased in November 2022. Did not pay after first month. I just unlocked 3 s21 FE , one Iphone SE 2020 , 1 Oneplus N20 . All were purchased from store under different accounts and IDs. Me and my friends ported the numbers and were able to get those phones. All are unlocked now.

Now this is a real deal.

Way better than the A54 for the same price. In for one.

You should be able to root it AFTER unlocking to install alternative operating systems like Graphene, which is the only reason I'd get one. It will NOT unlock if you mess with it before that, as others have learned with Metro phones. Google is your friend...
Its status as a rooted phone shouldn't affect the 180 day counter. Where did you get this info?

From previous offers. Folks who tempted fate lost. Do you feel lucky?

I've tried to port in a Google Voice # but it did not accept at payment checkout step. Do you have an experience on it?
I did it in-store. At one of the very few dealers that do not pillage and burn.
