The 4500W are on sale too. Got the dual fuel with electric start for $774. Limited-time deal: Champion Power Equipment 200988 4500-Watt Dual Fuel RV Ready Portable Inverter Generator, Electric Start https://a.co/d/4kyPILa
Got the same deal. One thing different is the current deal has a 12v car plug instead of the USB ports that ours come with. This one comes with a usb adapter that you can plug in. I wish I could have gotten this version with the 12v as I have a 12V compressor fridge I could run off of it. The vendor for our Genny still has our version at a cheaper $429 currently.
Last week from blains farm and fleet was 399. They sent me a open box by mistake took aff additional 15% so came out to be 339.15+ tax+ 17$ shipping

Dang... if I didn't buy the Pulsar generator a while back I would have considered this. The ability to operate off propane is really nice! Is there a special process/procedure you need to follow if switching fuels though?

Note: This doesn't have a 30 amp connector, so it's usefulness is limited out of the box.

Edit: Autism.
I know this might sound stupid but it really isn't. You could simply get a 20 amp to 30amp adapter cord and still use it with this. The max running amps on this is 80% of the 20amp plug peak wattage so you could never really overload the wire because the overcurrent protection is going to kick in the same if you were just using the 120v outlet itself.

Would this be a better deal for $40 less? I know it's 300 watts less and 5 lbs heavier. Is that worth the $40?

Will this run on natural gas, even if at a lower capacity?

That gen isn't an inverter style though.

I don't think anyone makes a tri fuel inverter generator yet.

Help me out...I can run a fridge on this, yes? And a laptop? And a fan?

I'm needing something for when the power goes out and maybe other uses. The storms and outages seem to be getting worse. Being prepared for $500 seems like a smart move.

So is this the one for me?

A fridge? It depends on the in rush amps the compressor draws but most modern fridges would probably be fine.

I've never used a gen on propane, what are the advantages or disadvantages compared to regular unleaded fuel?

Anyone know how long will a 20# propane tank last at like half load, couldn't find any specs on that?

The advantage is propane doesn't go bad with age so you can keep tanks of it ready to go for years plus it doesn't gum up the carburetor like gas will if left in the carb to long. The disadvantage is propane makes less power which equals less usable wattage.

Its nice to have both options during a long power outage, sometimes gas isn't available while propane tanks are.

I got one of these back in February and it's great. We took it camping where it was able to power a couple devices while I recharged the battery on our camper. (National Park so no "shore power" available and could only run generators at certain times.)

I put a SoftStart on my 13500 BTU A/C and managed to run it off this generator.

The dual fuel thing is great too because if you're at "altitude", you have to adjust your carburetor with elevation change. Propane needs no adjustment and ran just fine for my needs (~3500'). Also, with a small adapter, I was able to run my generator off a 1lb propane canister so I could run it away from the camper (didn't have to hook into my camper's 20lb tank). It's super quiet for a generator, but still make a racket. Setting it 40ft away on the other side of a vehicle minimizes the nuisance.

Be sure to run it for 5hrs then change the oil as instrcuted. Also don't leave gas sitting in the tank. Run any fuel until the generator quits so nothing is left in the line to gum up.

I love it.

How long did you run it on a 1lb tank?
