If you are married just get a new account in your wife's name and let yours expire. It comes with 2 cards so you can be secondary. Then next year, you are the main card. There is no incentive for being a long term member.

I'm nearing my expiration and am trying to see if there are any deals out there or at least a discount! I hate it when new people get a deal while those of us who have been loyal are stuck paying full price (I know the economics of why - I just don't like it)

Is there a link on the Costco website mentioning the $30 card? Went through the entire process didn't single place mentioning that.
