I'm Hanzelnuts, I was mentioned in the Wiki. You guys are lucky because Spectrum is excepting a lot of older phones as trade in for this promotion. A Note 4 is now worth $35 + $600. That's crazy.

I did this promotion 2 months ago. Traded in my Note 9 for $27 and Iphone 8 plus for $12. Note 9 was the oldest they will take back then and so was the iPhone 8. I had a Note 4 that didn't qualify. I had to buy the IPhone 8 for $90 to do the trade in.

I went in the store and paid in full for S23 Ultra and S23. Contrary to FatGuyPoolShark, I like many people, had to send in our trade-in to Assurant. You'll be lucky if the store accept your trade in. It has to be sent in.

Anyways, I have Spectrum internet. There was a promotion of buy one unlimited line for $29.99 and you'll get one line free. For those that didn't get this promotion in their email, ASK THE REP at the store if you can get that promo. Chances are, they'll say yes.

I was able to unlock my 2 phones within one week. I called and asked if they could unlock them and the agent unlocked them while I was on the phone with her. You might want to say you're traveling and needed them unlock.

Assurance emailed me and says my phones were accepted as trade-ins. But instead of $27 for my Note 9, they only going to pay me $15 reason being it was late. It wasn't late, as they received it within the 30 days required to mail in.

I have a credit of $1227 with Spectrum right now. I'm too busy to call and ask them to credit them back to my credit card. It shouldn't be a problem though.

Feel free to ask any questions if need to.

Did they credit back to your CC?
I called Spectrum and they credit back to my credit card. She said it might take 2 days but I saw the credit the next day.

Anyone knows if in-store purchase after trade in will have reduce taxes on the difference amount or is $40 tax constant for both online and offline orders?

Yes you will pay on full amount. When I lived in CA I would buy my phones in NV when I was there for a weekend. Would pay for half the weekend once a year.

Need help…
Yesterday I bought 2 phones, had issues with activation process in store, took time for activation.

Store guy said they both are unlocked, but they are locked. I called cs today to unlock they are saying it's already unlocked. They can see unlocked they can't do anything.
I tried inserting another sim- it didn't work. In settings they are showing as locked. I did a reset with another it didn't work.

I didn't receive receipt when I bought them in store if they is the issue.

Please can someone help me how to fix it..

From what I've learned about unlocking Samsung phones that are locked to Spectrum Mobile, the best way to proceed is to keep calling them until you get someone knowledgeable enough to resend the unlock instruction to your phones. Ensure both phones are powered on and connected to the internet (Wi-Fi might be enough, mobile data might be better).
If they can't unlock the phones directly, perhaps they can e-mail you unlock codes and advise where to enter them.

To check an S23's current SIM-lock status, use Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Network lock status

Ok, I will keep calling them again and again. Yeah, I was checking the status in network lock status in settings as you said.
