How often do you apply it? Once a year, twice a year (spring, summer/fall) or what?
for 1oz solution to 1gal of water, I would apply it quarterly. The residual lasts for a while. Keep in mind, direct sun and rain will diminish it, but you should still be seeing dead insects around the places you spray. Depending on your location and how many, etc... you may not see any or many after a week or so, but that doesn't mean it isn't working. It is not an instant kill but it affects the insects neuro system and will eventually cause death. I personally don't want to do that to any living thing but some of these insects are parasites, can carry diseases, are a nuisance in numbers (like clover mites), or cause damage. .... so, unless they understand English and can be reasoned with, they got to go!

FYI this does NOT kill grubs, and is miss-pictured and miss-described (you will get a bag with no mention or image of grubs on it with the same UPC). Been trying to get amazon and spectracide to update the listing for weeks to no avail.

Buyer beware.
This is incorrect. I just picked it up and picture has grubs on it

I've bought this stuff before and would do it twice a year. Always 1 oz to 1 gallon and spray with one of those 10 dollar sprayers from home depot. I never saw any bugs on the inside of my house so I didn't apply more often. Also when you get a decent size container it's going to last for 5 plus years so you can do it alot.

I have used this product over the last few years, and it is only as effective as when the last major downpour. During the summer the ant hills lessened after a fresh spray. It is neat to see the bugs instantly evacuate the areas the product is spread onto.
Price matched this sale at my local AAFES and was able to pickup four bags for 20 even

This doesn't kill grubs so stick with Scotts. As @Abedo mentioned, it's miss-pictured and miss-described.
It does well with mosquitos though. I use this every year. Cuts down the swatting outside for a good 2-3 months.

It's safe for pets IF:

- You apply
- You water the grass
- You let the grass dry

Otherwise if you let the dry granules sit on the grass, they get caught in your pet's toes, and they lick their paws, you could have issues.

Also wanted to note that this stuff kills fleas and ticks, so it's a good thing to use in your yard.

I find the liquid version easier to apply. Attach it to a hose and just water away.

Issue with that is the following: So so reviews and it isn't $5. Also I've used this for years and as long as you water it in, no issues for little people whether human or pets!
