I see this one with Sunbrella fabric for $250 as well. Any thoughts?

I bought one a couple years ago for $500. It's held up well and does fine with moderate wind. I sprayed mine with a weather/UV coating. Not sure if it's helped much, but there's been no fading or dry rotting of the fabric so far. $250 is a great price for this.
We had ours for about three years. Pretty good quality and withstood the AZ heat, however two major issues. If the cord breaks that expands the shade then you pretty much need to send it to the landfill. We tried a fix that took almost a day as the cord is fished through many different tubes and mechanisms. The fix only lasted a few months. And the base that holds in the sandbags is difficult to keep together. as it comes in mutiple interlock pieces. And make sure you place it where you want it as moving it is quite difficult.

can this umbrella be rotated to the side, or is it fixed in place once setup? Ideally if the umbrella is closed it could be rotated out of the seating area...
I can rotate 360 easily over my pool or over my conversation area. Then I can lock it in place with a turn of the nob. If I don't lock it/turn knob it will move with wind. It can be rotated while closed. I have the Sunbrella one and there should be no difference with the poles and knobs.

I bought this. First off, shout out for the BILT app for making the assembly a breeze. It's a solid umbrella and I'd rate it 4.5/5 stars. Downsides are it's not as tall as I expected/hoped and the adjustment increments for the 360 rotation are 'long' so you lose precision. But it's easy to operate, looks good, and the solar LED lights are actually pretty slick. It also feels and looks way more expensive than just $250. Well worth the price IMO. Happy to answer any other questions

You fill 2 sandbags with 220 pounds of sand and then there's a hard plastic shell over it and around it. It makes it look like it's a solid base but actually it's two sandbags inside. seems pretty solid and secure to me, but I have not tested it in high wind. I am confident it will hold up though given it's 220 pounds, holding it down.

This is recommended by homedepot. Planning to get it myself. Wish that cover was matching to the umbrella color but not that fuzzy.
I bought this cover from Amazon. Fit the umbrella well.

there is a different deal, $300 for Red color, $350 for Sand color, with free shipping. So Red one is same price if you take into account the free shipping (was $250 + $55 shipping)

So the distance from my house to the backyard fence is only 10'. Will this one still work? I am about to pull the trigger but thought that this umbrella would be too big. TiA

What's the best way to get sand for this thing?
I don't have a truck, is it wise to get 250lbs of sand into my sedan? Or can that be shipped as well?

Yes, 250 pounds in a sedan is more than fine.

250 lbs == 1-2 persons in the car so you should be fine

Showing $350 for me. Which sucks because the wife and I are sitting outside discussing how we need a new umbrella.

Any comparable deals would be greatly appreciated. TIA
