This is $12 more for the same brand/style, and it's the speed people often recommend for Intel gaming I believe: https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-32...6820374451

(This RAM is designed for Intel systems; for AMD optimization/auto-detection it's probably best to choose another product.)

Looks like DDR5 is starting to go down in price. That's good, makes Ryzen 7000 more affordable

Select RGB None at the bottom if you want to save 10 bucks.

No. You should not mix RAM kits. If you want more RAM you should try to order the same RAM this build comes with or replace it with all new RAM.

I cant imagine 64gb of ram is even remotely nec, but i mean its so cheap to just add another 32gb and populate all 4 sockets nicely... ehhhh

After seeing some of the comments here, how do you determine if RAM is better for Intel or AMD? I was planning on getting the MC 7700x bundle, which has a similar set of RAM as OP but I was debating getting an RGB set from GSkill with the Trident Neo-something. Now I don't know if it's the best option, despite verifying it with PCPartPicker.

If it makes you feel better check out a DDR5 price chart.

I think the DDR5 you paid $129 for was over $500 at the beginning of 2022: https://cdna.pcpartpicker.com/sta...cfb9f4.png

I would NOT buy this ram for AM5 - it doesn't seem it is AMD EXPO certified bc all it says is XMP (Intel).

Take a look at this as a reference - not a complete list: https://www.amd.com/en/technologies/expo

Ha thanks. I was able to get a price adjusted to $112 on Amazon. Figured $6 difference for a better return policy and no more wait time might be the way to go
