Looks to be a pretty good deal. I have several "knock off" M12 batteries from Amazon that are considerably cheaper then the normal millwaukees, they work quite well in my 12v ratchet and inflator. Just a heads up for those also looking to pinch some pennies.

Nice deal if you can use an extra compact battery but the charger's probably unnecessary as most M12 users likely have several already.

Ugh, I am torn. That IS a good deal. I don't need any more M12 batteries and definitely don't need more M12 chargers. If it was a bigger battery I'd definitely buy.

I have 3 chargers, all M12, plus several other brand chargers. I've actually used all 3 at the same time, especially when using my die grinder, which eat up batteries. I'd have preferred a 3 battery charger, but that's what I have and it works. Any more and I doubt I'd have a use for them except as a backup if one fails.

What I'd really like is an external high capacity battery pack or even plug-in that had an adapter connected via a cord that snapped into the tool the way a battery does, to give you way more capacity than even a 6Ah battery can give, for hours of continuous use without swapping batteries. Perhaps there's not enough demand or there's some technical reason for why it's not feasible, but that die grinder uses a ton of power and it gets annoying constantly swapping out and recharging batteries.

Just wait for high output CP 2.5 deals, you don't need it

Yup, I have like five M12 chargers and like... five Milwaukee tools. They make good door stops.

The 1.5 and 2.0's have way old low performance cells and should be dirt cheap. For folding money hold out for 3.0's in the 3-cell variety.

Good deal if you need an extra 2.0ah battery.

At this point I won't buy anything less than 4.0ah. They provide a lot more power than the 2.0ah batteries for higher power needs like impact drivers or drilling larger holes (I know this is counterintuitive people have tested it and it's true). I still use my 2.0ah batteries but I really prefer the bigger ones.

Pop out the black plastic thing, and use the battery for a really useful tool for the Bosch 12V system.

Hopefully, CCI has some degree of common sense to use better battery stock for this thing and stay away from utterly junk Ryobi things.
