Avelo Air just announced their new nonstop service between Brownsville-South Padre Island (BRO) and Burbank CA (BUR) or Orlando FL (MCO). Introductory one-way fares start at $89. This works both ways. These routes operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Very low, one-way fares for both routes start at $89.

There is no seat selection and no carry-on bag allowance. You may bring a small personal item that fits under the seat in front of you. Additional fees for carry-on and checked bags, advanced seat selection and other optional services may apply. Avelo doesn't charge a fee to change your flights, but you'll have to pay the difference in fare if the new flight costs more than your original trip. You can change or cancel your flight up until 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
