I'm all for paying a little more for beautiful things but only if they offer as good or better functionality. But from experience the best paper towel holders are mechanical and have an arm that holds the open piece from flopping everywhere and clicks when you pull for paper.

Specifically, the one from OXO. It's $25 but well worth it IMO

Flour canister is terrible. I've had two. The lid is hard to hold, so it slips out of your hand and then it breaks when it hits the counter.

170 ounces 10 lbs 10 ounces. That's a bit more than a cup and a half.

10lbs 10 ounces of water. Not flour. Different densities. I'm assuming when they say 170oz, thats a unit by volume, and not by weight.
