Back in stock, eh? It went out of stock quickly last time, so jump if you want it. Mine is supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. Took about two weeks to make it to the "schedule a delivery" stage, so don't expect Prime delivery times.😁
Bought this last year at $1999 but with two separate 15% cash back deals which were stackable, so net was less than $1500 for me. I was replacing a 30 year-old Roland KR1700, a beautiful cherry-toned, $4000 heavy wooden console digital whose key mechanisms kept breaking. I got pretty efficient at repairing them myself but it was still an hour-long PIA each time and I finally got tired of it. The Kawai is one of very few affordable instruments I could find that was available in any wood tone finish other than piano black or tuxedo white, which was important to me. The action and sound quality are vastly better than my retired Roland. I'm not a skilled pianist by any measure but I love this instrument. Not sure if the sound quality will come through but here's a clip of me playing:

Wow!! There's another one out there?! I'm looking to replace my 25yo Roland KR 570 that has also had numerous key repairs. Paid $4500 in…1997 probably.
Amazingly the 3.5" disk drive still works! Lol
