I ended up buying this umbrella with the Sunbrella fabric when it got posted in the other thread. A few home depots in the Chicago area have them in-stock so you can pick up in-store. Quality seems pretty good. Much better than other umbrellas I've seen in store for this price. Going to compare to the $600-$700 Costco umbrellas next time I'm there. Overall this is a very slick deal.

I just bought one and it says in bold right on the box Sunbrella fabric. This is from the home decorators brand. I also bought the aluminum lounging set which also had sunbrella cushions. It seems they offer quality products at reasonable prices.

I'm sure you can but I don't trust the bag not ripping eventually. You'll have a bigger mess to deal with later on.

Fit in my Subaru Outback from back hatch to between the front seats on part of the armrest - at my shoulder beside me, not all the way to the gear shift or anything.

People keep saying good things about the fabric, but I thought it was quite thin. Mine came with a tear in a seam right out of the box.
