This is not necessarily a deal; it is what it typically goes for now. However, I own this monitor and purchased it at this price a year ago 04/22, and it's a fantastic monitor for games and for work with one glaring issue. HDR does not work, it will dim your screen to the point that it is unusable. Just turn off HDR and enjoy.
Hi have a 55" LG C9 and this G9. They both are awesome, I use the G9 for scenarios where FPS and the Ultrawide view makes the game more enjoyable, and use the C9 for single player high end experiences.

Sweet! If I didn't use VR for sim racing I could see the use for this one. Though for someone looking for a single solution, the C2 is such a great deal. Yeah I worry about image retention, but I combat that by using a laptop for normal stuff. It's just me being extra paranoid most likely.

Same issue with me. The HDR is more distracting in this monitor than it is immersive. I have an OLED TV and the HDR does it's wonders there. Other than that, great monitor

Is this a Windows issue? I've looked for all fixes but I switch between this and my LG OLED and the hdr is unusable from the pc hookup.
It's nice, but it still doesn't match the 42" LG C2 OLED experience. Omg it's amazing for gaming! Cheaper too
Agreed. I got the C2 55" as my personal PC monitor and holy crap, it's amazing and everything else now looks like junk. Just make sure your PC supports HDR and 4k @ 120hz if you game and it's amaaaaaazing.
Crazy they still charge this much for this vs the NEO. I think I got it for $900 or so 2 years ago. If I could do it again I probably wouldn't gotten a 21:9 ultrawide instead. This is too wide for most gaming and causes more headaches than anything else with compatibility. Also the backlighting and contrast is pretty abyssmal.
Probably not going to change mine out anytime soon but nowadays i'd aim towards a 21:9 OLED or wait for a 21:9 Micro LED

That's why I am so protective of mine. Lol I love the C2 for a monitor! Paired with a 4080 and it's gaming bliss. Shocked people gave me thumbs down. Maybe they just do not know what they are missing? Trying to help the masses is all.
I bought this monitor from a previous Samsung deal. Towards the end of the one year warranty, a cluster of pixels died and required some back and forth for a replacement unit from Samsung. The replacement seems to be working well. Just a heads up for folks who are buying this thing, I guess it could happen to anyone.
I use it for productivity 95% of the time and it's great.

Good monitor, though. I love splitting it 2/3 and 1/3 rather than exactly in half as two displays.
If you plan to get an arm, be prepared for sticker shock, as it's a really heavy screen. My Ergotron arm was around $350.
