I am seeing some potential misinformation by users here. I'm unable to locate a past product in which there was ever a 10" model. Perhaps yes, the outer casing is 10" but the blades themselves are 7.5" for both current and past models. Please note that the current offer here is for a new release 2023 model that's been upgraded with the whisper series tech. If you view the infographic attached, it actually has more CFM than the PCL811, and slightly lower airflow speed.

In regards to the 12" air cannon, https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../319381034 , this model is for hose use only, not compatible with bucket use. Nothing in the images indicate it has the "misting button", which is essentially a pump that would make it work with a bucket.

Per the video review I found for the prior model 7.5 misting fan PMF01 @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-2De_MhtAk around the 10:30 minute mark, it's shown that attaching a hose works because the pressure from the hose forces water out of the brass misting nozzles. However if the hose is dropped into a bucket, nothing happens unless you actually turn on the "misting button" which essentially turns on the pump.

Also if you check the Q&A on the product page for the 12" air cannon misting fan, someone asks specifically if it can be used on a bucket, and Ryobi support responds that no, it's not compatible.

Edit: Just responding to another comment, but so much thread-crapping and/or misinformation. Not sure why that's happening so frequently these days people posting bad information. While the video review above is regarding the older model PMF01 @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-2De_MhtAk at the 12:30 minute mark, the guy claims he got around 4 hours of runtime with 1 bar left on a 4Ah battery. If you pay attention to the setting he used, it looks like he utilized the high mist setting too. I can't imagine a newer model would have drastically different runtimes.
This is a high quality comment. Thanks for that.
In the same question, someone else said 6.75 hours of run time on setting 3 with a 4ah battery.

Note that this is the smaller non hybrid model of mist fan. I got a larger 10" version (also non-hybrid) at around $50 several years ago. Now there is a new 12" hybrid model. $99 for two 7.5" model is not so hot.

I'm fairly certain that the 12" model isn't a bucket top, you can only hook it up to a hose. Not sure about the 10" model

On the 12" model you can still drop the hose hookup straight in a bucket, you don't have to hook it to a hose.

A 4Ah battery will provide around 15-20 minutes of run time. And, no AC power. Big pass for me!
source for the 15-20 mins?
