Open Box R7s available for $730/$786 each or $1460/$1572 for a pair at Best Buy in the DC metro area.
I'll try my best. I own multiple models of both kef and klipsch speakers including the RP series. Ultimately, what's worth it to you is going to come down to personal preference. Outright, these speakers are going to have a decently greater amount of clarity to them over complex passages in use. Their signature will be much flatter and that could be either good or bad depending on what you like. Klipsch will have a tint of a warm engaging live sound while kef will steer towards a neutral more transparent studio sound. Of note though, if you are running these thorough a cheap AV reciever the kefs may lose some of their appeal, that clarity thing may work against you.
Personally, I've learned to be honest with what I am looking for in my sound signature and not let cost determine what sounds good. If you like klipsch, I would stick with it until you can demo a pair of whatever else you are looking at and see if you prefer it and the associated sound signature more. Klipsch has a pretty unique house sound that some people prefer.

The R7 is also $2000 for a pair. Not too bad. I have a pair of r11s in my theater room. But I think the r7s might fit better in many living room setting. Also $1000 less for a pair than the r11s.
Sweet. Amazing deal. I have these and they sound great.
I'm still waiting for my R2C to ship from Amazon. I have a feeling it was out of stock and they just haven't cancelled yet. Was supposed to arrive today, but hasn't shipped.

I got a pair of R5's delivered Saturday from Best Buy for $1650 regular $3300. This was the best size for my listening room. The R series have been upgraded to "Metas". The price on the R5 Metas went up to $4k. BB has a 15 day return policy. Happy with purchase.
I have 2 15" cerwin Vega 3 way speakers in a 5 speaker surround no subwoofer setup. Yamaha rx-a770. The setup roars with explosions. Am I missing something by not having a dedicated subwoofer and acoustical fronts
