There is a wheel issue. Many said it's easily broken.

looks nice deal, but need to check the issue.

I was really looking for a more durable, wireless gaming mouse for my son, but it looks like this one has a possible wheel issue? My son's last wireless gaming mouse broke because one of the clickers just failed.

as a fellow dad i'd suggest either buy a decent Logitech mouse, don't worry if it's not labeled gaming. In my experience their products take more abuse than most. Or just buy 5 really cheap "gaming" ones off a slick deal.

Appears to be dead, now showing $42. I was going to take the risk that the one angry guy on Reddit might not represent the other umpteen thousand good reviews.

Mine had been running nearly 2 years with no problem. I do between this and a Razer ultimate when the other needs charging. Wonder if two can sync to a single receiver...

I had that very issue with the X17, albeit after about a year and a half. Cheap plastic components in the wheel mechanism broke and it just started spinning loosely with no feedback to the PC. I would have RMA'd it, but I got it on sale and it just wasn't worth the at least $10 to ship it back to them when at best I'd just get a replacement that would have the same issue in the future. Was rather disappointed they didn't stand by the product enough to either cover shipping to them or just ship out a replacement without the return of the original like some other companies do.

I was in the market for a wireless gaming mouse a few months back and opted for the Logitech G604 as it was about $35 at the time. I use a wired G502 Lightspeed on my desktop which is terrific, and needed a wireless option for a laptop I had bought. With the wireless G502 costing stupid money, went for the G604 at a fraction of the price and am totally happy I did. I'm not quite sure where the pricing on the G604 is today, but it was $35 for a long, long while when it went on sale. I'd highly recommend that one over this, based on quality and longevity alone.

Awesome, thank you! I looked for a cheaper seller before posting my comment however I may have overlooked it. Was also scrolling via my phone so was probably was user error.

Edit: Going to pass on this, pretty much every review that mentions battery life says it needs to be charged daily or every other day or 'dies overnight if you forget to turn it off.' Seems like a pain as my current Logitech G602 lasts for months off a single AA battery. That mouse just has a bit of random lag so I was hoping to upgrade. I should just go back to my 20 year old wired Logitech MX518. Between that and a Belkin N52 you could conquer worlds Wink

I've used this mouse for over a year now. It's "OK." Build quality isn't the greatest. I use it wired because the battery doesn't last long and it doesn't appear to have an effective sleep feature.

The rubber on the wheel gets unglued easily after a few months. But gluing it back was super easy with some crazy glue. This happened on x17 as well as x20. I first RMAed it but when it happened again I just glued it back up. I switched to Logitech G and haven't looked back.

I also got in on that deal and really wish I had bought more than one. I thought my old Logitech wireless mouse was good, but holy hell the G604 is so smooth! And it's got so many features I barely use, such as being able to quickly switch between your pc and another Bluetooth device. Being able to change the mouse speed on the fly is also pretty crazy. I don't even game that much, but this is perfect for an everyday mouse and I wish I would have gotten more than just one. Best Buy shows a sale price of $60 (from $99), but they're all sold out. I wonder if there's a replacement.

I've long been a loyal Logitech user but seems like they are starting to cut durability issues. Or I'm just weirdly unlucky.
My MX Master 2S made it just over a year before it couldn't connect to working dongles anymore, but works fine via Bluetooth.
Now also just over a year... my ~$100 G613 wireless "gaming" full size keyboard is starting to have number pad keys not registering.
So far my G603 mouse is still working correctly.

Just not sure if my replacements will be Logitech this time, just like my next router won't be a Linksys after the cheap design of the LAN ports (used thin aluminum for the click in, which got snagged replacing a Cat-6a cable, now only 2 of 4 are usable) on my $180 router, while I'm seeing super budget routers that have higher quality LAN ports.

Your MX518 probably has 2x the click life left than newer Logitech mice like the G602. I got burned by the faulty Omron switches they started using. Keep an eye out for "double click" issues where if you click/drag, the click loses registering. It is not a matter of if you'll get the issue, but when.
