I bought this at the $20 deal a few weeks ago. God I hate this mouse. It has a great DPI and responsiveness, but the mouse goes to sleep REALLY quickly (about 2 minutes of inactivity) and it takes a solid 7-10 SECONDS for it to wake up of jiggling or clicking it frantically. I wouldn't care if it went to sleep that fast if it woke up quickly, but it should not take this long using the 2.4Ghz USB adapter. I can see it with Bluetooth, but not the dedicated dongle. It works well when wired with the Micro USB cable (since it never goes to sleep), but that kind of defeats the whole point of a wireless mouse.

I just got this mouse last week when its $20. It does go to sleep after a short time but mine takes less than half a second to wake up on both my linux (bluetooth) and windows (2.4 Ghz). I have their software on windows and not on linux. Maybe the mouse you have is defective?

I just opened the one I got from the last FP deal. This was sweet for 20 bucks. Rechargeable batteries with wired/bluetooth/wireless 2.4. Gaming grade for 18 bucks. Just buy it as a back up.

Picked up the Logitech G305. Terrible mouse. Hopefully this is better. It's half the cost, which is a plus.

What's wrong with the g305? It's okay for me so far using it at work

I'll be honest, I'm excited for my $17 namebrand wireless mouse. If I don't like it, itll get packaged back up, wrapped, and given to a teenager as an Xmas present.

dang, micro USB deal breaker
I grabbed one for my backup. it comes with cable, so its whatever. One thing i noticed is it needed a firmware update out of the box and that requires plugin. the software wouldnt work initially until i did that.

Does it need to be charged every day? Some user reviews said that.

I just bought my 5th. The left button will stop working, but they send you a new one no problem. It was at the 18 month mark both times on the last two. I have one for the kids' computer and my wife. They do less clicking. It's an exceedingly neutral mouse in every respect.

I had a funky EVGA one at some point and it also failed and I got a free one. It was a little less comfortable.

Basically a mouse is going to be a strong personal preference thing.

Good news is neither company gave me any warranty hassle.
