Rather than lose a nice day, I decided to drive back home and swap out the deflated tube for a new Conti Race tube and mounted my Niterider 1100 front light and this Cygolite 90 lumen rear light. Because I started so late in the evening riding (after 830 PM) I got a chance to see just how bright this thing is at dusk/night. I had it on pulse/flash, and I love it. It's super bright -- it leaves a burning red flash that can probably be seen for miles (in the dark at least). Also, it fit the strap is very well made and fit around my Ridley's aero seat post with no problem.
So, it's a great low price, and I'll also give it an enthusiastic thumbs up at only $30 for 90 lumens.

Lets just say nobody comments so much about a bike light except for shillers
Let's just say that you have absolutely zero idea what dafuq you're talking about.

Thank you. I was wondering if I even need it since I have a varia and this was super helpful.

Shillers don't usually have good English, high rating, high number of posts and can retort back to comments such as yours with swearing 🤣🤣. So I'll take this one as someone who is enthusiastic about a product enough to tell others about it. Enough for me to buy it as I'll have my bike come in tomorrow. Now to find a deal on a helmet
I think giro's at academy are on sale for what it's worth
Appreciate the support. As far as helmets, Bike Closet has a $200 + Kask Valegro (anthracite color - Medium) for $69.99 + shipping. That's a decent deal on a high end helmet.

I respect your knowledge of this stuff. I told my wife I want to get back into riding to help with stress. I know it's a good chunk of money upfront but since I'll be riding early in the morning before the little one wakes up, I prefer lights and a helmet to be safe! I "splurged" on a Giant Hybrid bike about 2 years ago and really need to use it
