You dont have to fill $10 for free pickup. Here is the trick. Add an expensive item into the cart and proceed to continue to checkout until you are in the review screen. Open the cart in another browser tab. Remove the expensive item. Go back to the original tab and continue checkout. It will let you checkout with pickup with the expensive item removed

Did walgreens changed their minimum $ for instore pickup?

Previous it used to be $10 before coupons. Now it looks like you need to be over $10 after all coupons.

Making it a easier choice to skip it all together, but want to confirm with others.

Agreed 100% ...but I've always just gone with putting these types of things in a zip lock bag to ensure nothing leaks out into a backpack/luggage.

Yep, I do this with any type of bottle I travel with and I usually keep some extra ziplock and plastic bags in my bag for emergencies or other needs. I mainly do this for intl travel as you can just go buy something domestically if you really need it on the other side.
