I think he meant more in line with the lower capacities if a 2TB with same stats is going for $110 than the 4TB should realistically come down closer to the $220 mark. Normally they are around that type of formula, this one is pretty close though.

Needs to come down in price in parity with the 2tb or better.

Never been the case in general for any storage tho. Same with HDD, Microsd or any storage media.

I just order from this deal.

https://slickdeals.net/f/16670642-acer-predator-gm7000-gen-4-nvme-solid-state-drive-ssd-2tb-120-4tb-250-free-shipping

I ordered 4TB one.
Are they the same?
Should I cancel it and order this one instead?

Idk, got 2 more years before i'd consider any more ssd.. hoping there will be 6tb and 8tb options. Plus nvme 5 operates very hot... not recommended for laptops even if the standard becomes available there until they make lower peak temp chips!

From what I recall, they are made by the same company just different branding. Same controller as well. Although Acer has higher write speeds and higher TBW. Look up this deal on reddit /r/buildapcsales subreddit for additional info on comparison.

I agree but look at the 8TB prices. Those are still ridiculously expensive.

We can find a 2tb MVNe SSD for under 70 for the cheapest from a reputable brand these days. I'm hoping that these 4tb ones can be less than 150 at least. I know, difference speed and quality matters. But I'm perfectly fine to have a budget one with a larger volume than a premium one with a smaller size.

I bought these a week ago after using the 2TB EX950 for years. These are great drives.
