Yea... the only folks that can have trees up this early are probably the ones that never took last year's tree down.

Or, they don't have cats (or kids) that want to climb the tree

My cat is such a pain in the butt when I put our tree up.

my dog is the problem here, she chews off the ornaments and we can't put gifts under the tree cause she'll take them and chew them up

My cat knocks the ornaments down by batting at them. She usually breaks several each year. She also tries to climb the branches of the tree

Beautiful! I am actually thinking of taking my loveseat and putting it in the storage building so I can put up my big-ass tree instead of just the 7 foot one. I don't know. Then I could put the 7 foot one in another room. I also would like to get a 4 ft for the kitchen. It's a sickness, really.

I'm not sure if we will put up a Christmas tree this year. We have been having a hard time dealing with the piglets knocking over everything else in the house....don't want to add Christmas tree to that list.

Side note #2, found out my 11 year old knows the truth about Santa (not saying it incase Lloyd is around). She's known for 3 years she said. This makes me really sad.

Jack is 5. Jamie and Nick both found out by the time they were 7 or 8, and since Jack rides the bus with older kids, I told Robert that I wanted to do special stuff this year..like put glitter out on the porch like the reindeers had been, etc. You just never know when they'll stop believing and I want it to be special. He said that was stupid.
