I don't use these for anything that should really be hit with an impact wrench but I love having they laying around in every toolbox for the lighter stuff.

Most of these adapters are meant for light usage. I bought the $5 husky set after Christmas and mostly use them to knock loose bolts that are 1/2" head or smaller. If you are trying to use it for anything much bigger than that you'd probably be better off with an actual impact wrench. Using a name brand like husky if I ever break them they are lifetime warranty so I can just exchange any any home Depot.

No, it looks like that set came with adapters as well so you shouldn't need these. Looks like that was a heck of a deal, BTW. These are for people who have impact sockets with no adapter (I got a Harbor Freight 1/2" set without one quite a while ago).
