Product Name: | Dyson Big Ball Multi Floor Canister Vacuum | Yellow/Iron | New |
Product Description: | Self-righting technology Dyson Big Ball canister vacuums are monostatic: they have a single stable resting point. Dyson engineers made this possible using a complex configuration of the vacuum’s components. By assembling them in a spherical array with the heaviest components near the floor we created a curved body with a low center of gravity. This means that whenever the vacuum is displaced from its resting position gravitational force will automatically return it. Or more simply when it’s knocked over it gets back up. Hygienically ejects the dirt. Dyson Big Ball canister vacuums feature a new bin emptying mechanism. You can hygienically drive out trapped dust and debris with just the push of a button. There’s no need to touch the dirt. Articulated handle for easy versatile cleaning The wand’s handle rotates in three directions allowing 360° articulation for greater control – all around the home from floors In the box: Carbon fiber turbine head Combination Tool Stair Tool. |

The best cordless I've tested (V10?) is still well below our 10yo basic DC40 corded model on everything. They're great for portability and touchups, though. Dyson batteries can be spotty, but the 2y warranty helps.
Not sure if this one from Walmart comes with the same amount of attachments (a lot) that the Macy's variant did.
I enjoy them both for different uses. The stick simply doesn't have the pulling power of the corded vacuums and the batteries die quickly and take forever to charge but they are highly portable. The corded vac is big and heavy and you have to deal with the power cord constantly but it is powerful and lasts as long as you need it.
Stick vacs are great if you live in a very small space without carpet. Anything else and I'm very glad I have both.

I'd like this because of it's larger capacity, but can't spend the money now. But, I have shared the post to friend's and Hope they get it!

Well, you do go back. Over the same part of the floor a few times.

I've never really understood canisters vs uprights (after 1975) but a lot of people swear they're better.
I have both. If I'm doing a quick clean up job or dusting, I'm using the cordless. If I'm vacuuming the entire room with carpet, there is no contest between my upright, corded Dyson and my V8 stick.

With right attachments you can use it for cleaning tight spots and even furniture. Simply goes beyond floors.
Some dudes, may find alternative uses (I don't judge)
