It is tricky
You have to add it back through the app (very hard to find and not very intuitive) You will then get person detection back and it works extremely well

Unfortunately, there is a manufacturing flaw and they have a tendency to leak at the lens after about a year of outside use. After they dry out, they can still be used indoors but will leak if left outdoors.

Good tip, thanks! I only had 2 of 5 compatible cameras added under the pay what you want subscription. Hopefully this makes it work again all around.
