i have this and its awesome! however, they only provide you with one cup and it's out of stock to get replacements. I have searched for many hours to find a cup with a similar size that will fit the machine. Total shot in the dark here, but-- has anyone found a cup that fits?
I have this for work, and the un-classy, non plus version at home.
Neither model takes 40s to heat up FWIW. More like 10-15s. At least mine indicates the 'ready to brew' signal after about 10s, but now that makes me want to measure output temps @ 10 and 40s.
Will report back!
Pod costs for this system can be had for less than half of Nespresso cups - usually between .30 - .40 per pod.
I won't repeat the same, long comments I've made in other threads, but if you're interested in picking this up, I recommend you read the previous deal threads for this. Lots of info and opinions in those.
Major drawback from the reviews:
Lavazza provides for you to make milk drinks with its frother and proprietary mug, but though they sell replacements you can't use some other vessel, which is weird and inconvenient. This means that you can only make milk drinks for one person at a time, and they have to drink them from the provided pitcher/mug, nothing else. That is weird.
They often have deals for this same model that comes with a bonus 'vessel' (Which also includes another, superfluous 'frother/steamer' top piece. Around the same price as this IIRC.
