Unboxed mine today. Very obviously used, scuffed base and docking station, full dust bag, filthy mop area with hair and dirt and grime. Dust in the dust bin on the robot, water in the water bin on the robot.

Wouldn't have minded all of this, but they didn't ship me a critical component to use the mop, the water filter (a big plastic piece). The robot will not mop without this component.

Very poor QA for this refurb program. Contacted Roborock customer service and provided photos, not sure what resolution will be.

Nasty used? The last Roborock refurb that I got was brand-spanking new. Dreame is a decent robovac but not as good as V7Max.

Have a Roborock for less than a year. There's plastic under the wheel that broke. I'm guessing it was screwed in too tight. I contacted Roborock and they refused the warranty stating it's an accessory then directed me to aliexpress to order the part. Weird since they don't sell it on their website and don't state it ever needs replacing.

I've just received Roborock Q5+ with cleaning station vacuum I've ordered from last week - both vacuum and station came in new condition - they had wrapper/stickers, no scratches or dust. I conclude that they were new. The first time you run any vacuum it starts collecting dust and scratches from the first minute. So it would take company to change the body of vacuum to get rid of scratches.

I got mine today s7 plus. Came in a brown box , not (original packageing. Definitely some usage I can see on the unit with a dirty mopping cloth. Initial change shown in app was 58%. I did not mind and started the cleaning after charging about 80%. Took 45 min to clean couple rooms and charging dropped to 31%. Unit went back to dock and sitting there for 2 hours and charged to 36 %. Is it really this slow ? I cleaned the charging ports m docked again. Still not much improvement .. hmmmm

Same here, my unit is filthy. Dirt and dust everywhere, they didn't even attempt to clean this thing. The reservoirs are nasty too, I could deal with a few small things but this is ridiculous. Returning for sure as I'm not even sure they looked at this thing after it was returned.

Got mine yesterday (s7 maxv ultra) and it's in new condition. Had it go around the house on both floors and there were tons of obstacles and it didn't get stuck once. Very impressed and happy thus far.

Got S7+ at 540 3 weeks ago with 12% SD cashback… the deal got sweeter when I messaged Roborock on ebay and they refunded 100$+tax as it was still in 30days return period

Btw.. my refurb unit was as good as brand new with only 3 hrs of cleaning history

Got my S7 (no empty dock) today. Dust bin is tiny, already regret not getting the auto empty dock. Definitely not new, had water in the reservoir, and it came with a whole second cleaning pad and attachment which is nice? Unit was in good condition though, no scratches (no cling film on it though, I'm assuming brand new you'd peel off plastic). Already tangled the brush in hair once.. not sure if I'm sold on this...

That seems a little strange. Mine charged from 0 to 50% in a couple hours. Rating sites tested it as a 0 to 100 charge at 4 hours. I think Roborock also claims a 4 hour charge time.

my q5+ came the other day. brown box. didn't see a spec of dirt on it, no scratches, etc. looked new. now to clean up all the wires in my house. first thing it did was get hung up on a cable under the sofa Smilie

Got my s7 two days ago and I think they accidentally sent me a brand new unit as everything was factory sealed and all components were new. Upon setup in the app, It shows no usage / runtime and everything is @ 100%. I know stats can be wiped at the factory but I really think this is new considering the first one I received definitely had signs of usage and was not completely clean. This one is spotless and works perfectly. Got lucky this second time around I guess.

P.S. I received an extra item in the box that I didn't get the last time -- A brand new moisture proof pad. I assume it's to keep the mop component from wetting the floor while docked? Either ways, pretty cool!

Did they make you send back the one you received first, confirm receipt, and then ship back this one? Or did they ship you a new one first?

I received mine used and extremely dirty with missing components, they're trying to offer 40$ for the inconvenience.

Sorry, I wasn't super clear. The first one I purchased was last year during black friday sales. I used that one for 6 months and it crapped out on me. I put in a claim with Square trade, shipped it to them and because they could not repair it, they cut me a check instead. I then used those same funds to purchase another refurb on ebay a few days ago. This is the one that I believe is brand new and not a refurb.

if I were you, I would return it and get another one sent out as it isn't as expected. $40 is not nearly enough compensation to justify the condition and the missing components.

Got my Q5+ in a brown box and looks lightly used, except for finding hair and what looks like pet hair stuck to the brush roll and other parts. Do these companies ever actually "professionally clean and inspect" their products? I've had a Shark refurbished vacuum that came really filthy in the recent past as well. Just fingers crossed that there's no actual issue with the unit other than the inconvenience of cleaning a bit of obvious hair and crud off.
