Yeah, I've noticed we're in a bit of a magazine drought, particularly from Mercury!

Any magazine there that I might be interested in costs money. I don't mind the nominal amount, but don't they auto renew at full price?

Same. What I want costs money but don't like auto-renew. I loved buying on amazon cause it was easy to turn off auto-renew. I haven't found any site that doesn't do auto-renew. Such a shame as I would buy some mags. Why I stick with free.

i've been getting for yearssssss and years............ some started almost 20 years ago.... as of now, i have not gotten any auto renewal notices..... i am not liable for any of them.... it is always optional and voluntary.... nothing has gone on my credit etc etc..... so i am not sure what you mean.... everything i get is.... get your 1 year, 2 years etc and nothing is forced to renew....

I think it depends on what you're signing up for...if you sign up for a freebie w/no strings attached/no cc info entered - there is no auto-renew.
If you sign up for $2 Magazines via BlueDolphin (for example) they will auto-renew, and you need to cancel the auto-renewal.

Local library's e-magazine online
They've been moving away from paper for awhile and mostly pushing patrons online given that tablets + e-magazines is easier/cheaper for distribution.

I went to RewardSurvey to see if there's anything for free, and they had.a few city magazines, plus cigar and whiskey, the rest were pretty basic and had a 2.00 charge. I got a tear of Country Living though.
I did notice that they had a three month subscription to Sirius XM, a one month Amazon Music, and a one month Hulu that were free, if it interests anyone.
They also had the free option for SlingTV you could get for 10.00.

This is the longest drought EVER…. Frown
