Verizon:
$200+$35 activation fee+$65 x 2 plan cost for 60 days = $365 + tax on device paid to walmart at checkout
$365+$12.44 = $377.44 for TX

I WAS able to get those refunded, I did not pay activation, nor any prorated/first month charges! The ideal way, is You need to pay off the phone, and cancel within 3 days of activation to get refunded everything. When you call to cancel, reconfirm you will get the refund for safe measure, and specify you want to cancel the line immediately (otherwise it will run until end of first month).

information can be found ON THIS PAGE [verizon.com]
"You may terminate service for any reason within 30 days of activation. You will remain responsible for your Activation Fee unless you terminate service within three days of activation."

I just went through the steps and it's a $35 activation fee and the cheapest plan is $65/mo plus taxes.

So at least $300 if you cancel. That's half off the price from apple.com.

Just ordered Red 128GB, was $16.42 (tax on the device's amount) on Walmart.com, said it'll be here Friday. Perhaps I'll activate Monday, pay off on Tuesday, cancel on Wednesday.

We'll see how it goes...

**EDIT**
why the thumbs down?

Canceled today
We're sorry, we had to cancel items in your Walmart order due to pricing errors. It may take up to 10 business days for the bank to remove payment authorization.

Did anyone else get this? I keep getting my order cancelled

Due to price errors? That would be a problem.

This is what I'm going to try and do. Hoping that it is not canceled like how it was for an earlier poster.

Earlier poster said he ordered an iPhone 12 mini, so I'm not sure that applies to this deal.

Edit: he just edited and changed to 13, still didn't specify size however

Why did the earlier poster order the 12 mini?

Who still pays activation fees in 2023? Can't believe the type of daylight robbery that cellular companies still get away with.
Well if everyone is charging it, it is kind of hard to avoid it.

Just like car dealer "doc fees". Just call it a "profit fee", you aren't providing any service for that fee. It is a "because we can" fee.

So do we still not have a reply from anyone in the thread that claims to have ordered two, whether they purchased 2 in one order, or two separate orders?

Does anyone know if you are able to use a Verizon nvmo after you pay it off and cancel the service (within the 60 day lock)?

Man. Wish there was a 7-8$ a month option for the 256gb. This is stellar upgrade deal for Verizon.

I've been a Verizon user for more than 10 years so I appreciate deals like this because upgrade deals usually come once every few months or once a year. If this was a 256gb model I would be sitting here regretting getting a 12 last summer but I'm still happy I made that upgrade. I would have been stuck with the crappy battery life SE this whole time.
