I watched the whole gamers nexus dive into it a few weeks ago. And I'm well aware some motherboard manufactureres were setting voltages too high, but there were reports of other issues as well where the vsoc voltages were within limits and they were still frying

The 7800X3D is cheaper and faster for gaming. I can't find a use case where the 7900X3D makes sense.
one use case would be using the non 3d chiplet to act as a server or handle other tasks while having the other 3d stack chiplet to act as the use case for games
but yea thats about it... its a bit more complex for regular users, i wish there was a setting that would auto use the non-3d chiplet as the main unless specified for a specific application as that would probably be the best use case... but yea
