Not to dismiss this post, but more of an FYI. Target has had this for a while at a very similar price. If you have a Red Card you get 5% off and free shipping.
I would say the return process in Target is better than Monoprice, so you can choose what you like best.
Walmart has these prices too, but I'd rather deal with Target.

I was unaware that regular retail stores sell Monoprice guitars. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like the Target and Walmart ones still ship from Monoprice as a 3rd party market seller. Not sure if you could return in-store or would still need to go through FedEx return process.

I did a return once for a Monoprice sold guitar through Target (using my Red Card).
I had to return it for a defect. I just took it to my nearest Target and they took it and processed my return. I didn't have to contact Monoprice for anything.
Haven't dealt with Walmart on this so far, but I would be surprised if it was different.
By the way, the black one went down $10 ($169 with DAD50 coupon).

I'm seeing $219-229 @ Target
They went up in price today in Target and Walmart. They come up and down often, but they were around 180 for a week.

I think Monoprice return process is fine. The only time when I had to return a guitar they asked me to submit pictures and then wait for an RMA.
For Target, I was able to just take the guitar to the nearest Target and return it on the spot.
If the item is cheaper in Monoprice, it's a no brainier, but if Target has it cheaper (it happens from time to time), it's a hassle free transaction.

I think you can get it closer to $110.
Good luck.
