Ease up on the hard sell there, partner. If your deal is good, it'll speak for itself...don't worry, the click and buy commissions will keep rolling in.

Why do staff even post deals? Why are those deals often front page without upvotes? It has made this entire site seem so shady.

15" x 12.5" is super tiny. This thing is about the size of a BBQ propane tank.

Because it *is* so shady.

Pro tip: click on "reply" to a link you want to click. That gives you the pure link without the SD referral stuff that gives them a cut.

Hit them where it hurts.
Good idea, put them out of business. Then you can go create your own deal website and I can't wait to see how you manage to keep it afloat.

I don't know about all of you, but I'm always researching the products posted here before purchasing and if it's on Amazon then using the 3Cs. I receive a benefit from the discounts I've received over the years so giving them a kickback is no skin off my back. Not sure why you want to take an extra step to "hurt" a website you use, but by all means you do you. Peace

I'm not sure why anyone would claim a deal without any upvotes becomes a Frontpage deal. This is simply inaccurate.

Deals get to the Frontpage when they garner lots of interest from the community in the form of votes and other positive feedback. Deal Editors then perform research, validate the deals, and post them to Frontpage.

Also, side note - I don't take it personally when people post they're not buying a deal. If you want to buy elsewhere - or pay more - or not buy at all, that's great, thanks for letting us know. If you do find an item for less, please consider sharing a link or posting a deal so we may all potentially benefit. We are a community of deal lovers, not haters.
SD is not what it used to be. It feels a lot more driven by promoted deals that are questionable at times. There is still some good content, but overall it's changed toward the negative.

These are nice but I find myself reaching for the alcohol burning mini fire instead because of no clean up. These wood ones are not very convenient even though they are a little more classic. Wood is more fun with company, but for a s'mores night outside I tend to just pour the 90% alcohol fuel and enjoy.

My preferred one is similar to this but not exactly https://a.co/d/4hA4mTh
Thanks for linking an alternative option

This might be just the thing I take when I go solo camping and need something discrete and easy to clean up afterwards

$80 seems kinda expensive for what is basically a steel cylinder with holes in it. Does anyone know what benefits this expensive version offers over the cheaper ones from Aliexpress, ebay, etc. for half or a quarter of the price?

Have seen the regular sized smokeless fire pits on SDs for $90-100, no deal.
This individual consistently appears in nearly every thread, making similar expressions. Is their intention to attract attention?

By legitimate referrals to actually good deals that are posted by members.

Not by shady back room deals that employees are trying to hype up. Cheap schills.

The entire point of this size is to be portable. I have the 19" bonfire and it is way to big to pack for a real camping trip. There's only so cheap you can make, brand, and ship a stainless steel fire pit. This is a good deal for one.

Also - I bought the largest version of this from HD (and returned before using as it was WAY too big). It is a much higher quality build than the cheap ones you get on Amazon (which I've used as well). It is at least equivalent to my Solo Stove.

That's the entire idea. Who wants to be carrying something bigger than a propane tank to the beach and on long camping trips? I had a collapsible 15" one from Amazon and I still returned it because it took up too much space. And this one isn't collapsible.

When I'm camping I use one half the size of this and it's still plenty for cooking and a little ambiance.

Would love to know where you're finding double wall SS fire pits this size for $30? That's less than the material costs even at China prices.

FYI this is a 'high-end' brand - much higher quality and thicker stainless than an Amazon brand plus real support/warranty. I've tried 4 or 5 different ones and this brand is heavier duty than my Solo Stove.

Your reaction here is bizarre and childish. It's either a Slickdeal or not. Upvote or downvote. Otherwise, shut up if you have nothing of value to add.
