Of course they also redefined what compatible means, check this out yourself!

They split out storage and the bionic mind AI stuff, this is just shady! I would refund my homebase if not already past the refund period!
Emailed support multiple times and they kept saying basically nothing.
Camera quality is ok and no issues, but definitely stay away because they do not advertise accurately.

Customer service is terrible trying to get them to replace, even under warranty!
Stay away!
If you want to store your indoor cam videos on HomeBase, you will only get 1080p resolution, not indoor cam native 2K resolution that stores on the cameras locally. Because of this I decided to not get the new home base
1. Customer Support - If your product goes out of warranty after the first 12 months, do not expect the company to replace/repair the product, or provide battery replacements. You will be thrown out in the ocean with a 6" stick as your lifevest, by them offering a 15% refund option on a purchase of a new product from their Amazon storefront.
I have had 2x cameras fail on me 15 days out of the 12 month warranty period, and the support team did not offer a courtesy warranty, nor a replacement/repair option at cost to the customer.
2. Battery Life (Solar) - If you plan to install multiple of these to cover your entire house, do not expect these to keep charge. I had to frequently climb up, get them back and charge it manually. And the ones that did not charge were in my backyard, and had hardly any humans/movement save apart from me gardening every weekend. These will only maintain charge when installed in a very optimal condition; so probably 2 sides out of the 4 to cover your home.
3a. Human Detection - It is very hit or miss. For the one facing your garage, it consistently failed to detect movement if you have your car parked.
3b. Front Door Human Detection - Again very hit or miss, only works if the person is walking towards it in a very specific trajectory, any turns or side movement, and no detection.
I could have had possibly lived with the iffy detection, or the weekly/biweekly manual charging, but I absolutely cannot stand or support a company that treats its customers like stupid dogs once the 12-month contractual warranty agreement is up.
TLDR: My advice, stay away from battery based tech, and spend the initial installation cost on wired cameras and it will turn out cheaper in the long run.

Additionally, according to reviews, Cameras linked to Homebase units alert faster and load liveview and recordings faster than just standalone over wifi.

I bought it because they said it will connect with all their devices when Homebase 3 first came out.
So summary - if you need a critical function/support that is "promised" but not yet available, wait before you buy or just get something else.
